These terms govern your use of My Story Now. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What we provide

My Story Now is a memoir and autobiography writing service. When you purchase, we provide:

• An AI-led interview process where you tell us your story
• A professionally crafted manuscript based on what you've told us
• A formatted PDF of your finished book
• Free revisions per chapter as included in your purchase

What we promise

We promise that:

• Every fact in your book comes from what you actually told us. We don't invent characters, events, dates, or details.
• We won't share your book or any part of it publicly without your explicit written permission.
• We'll handle your data with care, as described in our Privacy Policy.

What we don't promise

We don't promise that:

• Your book will be a bestseller (we craft it well; the world is unpredictable).
• The service will be perfect or always available without interruption.
• AI-generated content will be flawless - that's why every customer reviews and approves their manuscript before final delivery.

What you promise

By using My Story Now, you promise that:

• Everything you tell us is true to the best of your knowledge.
• You have the right to share the stories you share (for example, you're not violating someone else's confidence or copyright).
• You won't use the service to defame, harass, or harm anyone.
• You're at least 16 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian.

Payment and refunds

Our prices are clearly displayed at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe.

We offer a 60-day money-back guarantee. If at any point within 60 days of purchase AND before your draft manuscript is delivered to you for review, you can request a full refund for any reason. Once your draft manuscript has been sent to you, the substantial creative work is complete and refunds are no longer available.

To request a refund, email hello@my-story-now.com. We aim to process refunds within 7 business days.

Ownership

You own your story. You own your book. We retain ownership of our service, software, and brand. We grant you a perpetual, worldwide licence to use the manuscript we produce for you for personal, non-commercial purposes. If you'd like to publish or sell your book commercially, we'd love to hear from you - contact hello@my-story-now.com.

Limitation of liability

We do our best to provide a good service, but we can't accept liability for indirect or consequential losses. Our maximum liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll email you and give you a chance to review before they take effect.

Governing law
